Description
Himalaya Liv.52 Double Strength is a potent hepatoprotective supplement to protect against hepatotoxicity (liver damage). It restores the functional efficiency of the liver by protecting the hepatic parenchyma and promoting hepatocellular regeneration. Liv.52 DS prevents the loss of functional integrity of the cell membrane, maintains cytochrome P-450 (a large and diverse group of enzymes which catalyse the oxidation or organic substances), speeds up the recovery period, and ensures early restoration of hepatic functions in infective hepatitis.
Liv.52 DS also facilitates the rapid elimination of acetaldehyde (produced by the oxidation of ethanol that is popularly believed to cause hangovers). In pre-cirrhotic conditions, Liv.52 DS arrests the progress of cirrhosis and prevents further liver damage.
In addition to liver protection, this supplement can also improve appetite, normalising the basic appetite-satiety rhythm which can be useful for individuals with a variety of disordered eating habits. As a daily health supplement, Liv.52 DS also improves digestion and promotes weight gain.
